Free Online Course – Nutrition Communication for Health Professionals: Applying the Skills

This course builds on the Nutrition Communication for Health Professionals: Key concepts course and has a strong focus on developing and applying skills in brief nutrition-related communication of key messages to support early intervention and management of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

You will learn:
• key concepts related to effective brief communication of nutrition messages
• common misconceptions about diet with regard to early intervention and management of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease
• when referral to a dietitian for medical nutrition therapy is warranted
