NeoResus I Narrogin

This comprehensive workshop is for medical practitioners, GP obstetricians, midwives and other health professionals seeking additional skills, knowledge and experience in caring for the newborn who requires resuscitative support at birth.

Advanced Resuscitation comprises a theoretical (web based) learning component and a practical (skills based) training program.  This program comprises all components of the First Response Progrram, plus additional theory, advanced newborn resuscitation skills and advanced scenarios.

The theoretical component is a self paced learning program which is entirely web based.  It consists of two online learning modules which must be completed prior to attending the Advanced Resuscitation practical training program.

Eligibility: Paediatricians, GP obstetricians, medical practitioners and midwives.  Priority is given to those working in the local region.

Length: 8:00am-4:30pm

Cost:
Midwives/Nurses – $240 (including GST)
Doctors – $360 (including GST)
The cost of this workshop is subsidised by the Australian Government Department of Health

Accreditation: This workshop has accreditation with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and RANZCOG for continuing professional development points/hours for the 2023-2025 triennium.
