Syphilis in the NT | Online

The Sexual Health and Blood-borne Virus Program (SHBBVP) is coordinating a series of videoconferences designed to provide current information and updates related to the outbreaks of infectious syphilis in Western Australia.

About this videoconference:
In response to the ongoing and escalating syphilis outbreak in the Northern Territory (NT), the NT Chief Health Officer has activated a dedicated Syphilis Outbreak Incident Management Team (IMT) to lead a coordinated public health response. This presentation will provide the latest update on the NT syphilis outbreak epidemiology, outline the structure and role of the IMT, and introduce the tactical and technical working groups driving action on the ground. Attendees will gain insights into the key objectives and recommendations of the IMT Incident Action Plan and the progress towards achieving these.
