Using a case study example of an individual with diabetes, this activity outlines the steps required to confirm a CKD diagnosis as well as guidance on what medicines slow the progression of CKD while reducing the risk of CVD. With a focus on self-harm and suicide in adolescence, this program will assist clinicians to manage youth in distress, self-harm and suicidality. The program has been designed to build on the current level of skills of participants and to further develop confidence in undertaking risk assessment and safety planning for youth in distress.
